An enjoyable book with great characters and intrigue. I love the friendship and interaction between Alex and William, as well as the feisty Emily. I recommend this book.I read this book as part of an advance reader team and am voluntarily writing this review.
I'm absolutely loving this series so far! This is by far my favorite of them all.Details pending re-reading the first four and reading #5, as I am new to the series.The author provided a generously-priced copy, and I will later offer my honest review of this, but I highly recommend it.
I purchased this book when I was halfway through the first book in the series because I loved everything about the first book. The main character, her backstory, her friend William, the location descriptions, and most of all the way the author weaved the mystery. I was not disappointed with this second book! Alex is on another travel writing assignment and this time she is covering a new travel and cooking show. When a murder occurs and her best friend is a suspect, Alex helps uncover the truth. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series and I highly recommend this book and series to anyone who enjoys a great mystery!

Descriptions of the area, and of daily life of a cancer survivor, are written as only one who has been there could. Read this 5-star story before the next Alex Paige mystery comes out.Larry and Carol
